Shortly a Business Development Executive within the fintech sector, I achieved notable success, including developing a multichannel acquisition strategy from scratch within two weeks. This strategy resulted in 12-20 weekly sign-ups for a startup company and helped me achieve the first-month sales target of £80,000, earning my OTE in the first month. The role required wearing multiple hats in a highly ambiguous setting, which led me to learn new skills, take ownership and prioritise execution while learning from failures. My responsibilities included preparing B2B presentations and proposals, conducting cold outreach, managing current customer relationships, recovering lost business and maintaining a sales pipeline with regular weekly updates. Known for my proactive approach, problem-solving abilities and hunter mentality, I am currently focused on enhancing my skills, processes, business disciplines and principles. Additionally, I am building what I believe to be key soft skills: logic, rhetoric, agency and research—skills that go beyond conventional expectations. New business by executing a multichannel acquisition strategies and managing successful campaigns, while developing expertise in fintech.

Marketing Analysis and Resolution: Identified and rectified key marketing issues in my first month of joining as we only generated 2 inbound leads on average. This included incorrect setup of Google and Meta pixels, which meant we had no data to track and there was no SEO strategy in place. I highlighted the benefits of increased inbound traffic, conducted a competitor analysis for evidence and suggested a paid ads campaign focused on sales and lead generation rather than brand awareness.

Multichannel Acquisition Strategy: Developed and executed a comprehensive multichannel acquisition plan within 2 weeks. This included daily automated email campaigns, daily Instagram DMs/LinkedIn outreach and weekly targeted paid advertising for lead conversion. This strategy successfully expanded the customer account base, onboarding 12 new customers on average weekly, up from previously onboarding only 2-5 on average.

Lead in B2B Engagements: Spearheaded presentations and meetings for B2B deals, crafting tailored proposals for industry-specific companies. As the UK representative, I identified essential information from companies interested in partnering with us and qualified key aspects to include in our presentations via emails and calls.

Industry Expertise Development: Acquired in-depth knowledge of the fintech and financial industries, including critical aspects like FCA approval requirements for interest charges in B2B deals, eligibility for advertising and optimal lending periods for business loans.

Campaign Management: Pioneered a successful Black Friday campaign and set up paid search campaigns that contributed 30% of sales to the monthly targets and achieved a 10% CTR during the campaign.

Customer Engagement: Conducted weekly in-clinic visits for product demonstrations and onboarding new customers. During these in-person visits, I addressed technical concerns by demonstrating the platform’s ease of use, its clear use cases and the associated benefits.

Key Focus:

Mangaging 7 client sites ensuring good customer relations as the primary point of contact for the company, providing IT consulting and support to decision-makers, and managing the IT network for multiple sites.

Consulting on the best practices for IT with decision-makers leads to sales of necessary equipment and software, was the main point of contact for 7 sites with over 1,000 users combined.

I Managed the IT network for multiple sites, including Active Directory, Hyper-V and CISCO switches. I have built and maintained strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts. For example, two clients have expressed their satisfaction by saying, “We get cold-called every day and we stick with you guys because we like you and have built a great relationship.”

On a daily basis, I use ITSM software, specifically Freshworks, to document problems and organise client information. I keep detailed notes of important conversations so that others can easily understand what’s happening with my clients. This ensures a clean and organised system that provides clarity from any perspective.

Sysadmin duties such as checking local and clouyd backup, troublshooting network issues and setting up new users on the network. I have also helped with setting up new sites, including the installation of new servers, switches and access points.

I am highly familiar with technology products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients. For instance, a client experienced slow connections at their site. I explained the difference between server speed (RAM, CPU power) and network speed, helping them understand the issue and advising them on where to allocate their budget.

Experienced in SEO, performance marketing and website development, with a strong focus on campaign execution, analytics and search optimisation. Skilled in technical SEO, data-driven decision-making and improving conversions through strategic digital initiatives.

I worked on contract/freelancing as a Performance Marketing Specialist, running Meta Ads, followed by SEO work and website development. These experiences have helped me develop essential soft skills such as agency, proactiveness, time management and the ability to be execution-driven while remaining methodical.

Campaign Development: Nearly three years of experience in SEO, including understanding the roadmap for a successful campaign and structuring keyword research into semantic topical clusters. I built pages aligned with search intent while incorporating on-page SEO best practices. Additionally, I addressed technical SEO challenges in WordPress, such as optimising xmlrpc.php settings and improving site speed, while continuously tracking campaigns and executing link-building strategies.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs for backlink analysis, broken link detection and keyword research. I used Screaming Frog for technical SEO audits and issue detection, SEMrush for competitive analysis and Google Analytics (now GA4) for performance tracking. I have experience managing and building websites using WordPress and HTML.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitored campaign performance using Google Search Console (GSC) and exported data from GA4 for deeper insights. I analysed search performance metrics, including clicks, impressions and average position, to identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, I implemented measures to protect campaigns from malicious traffic, such as bot referral traffic, by identifying patterns in GA4.

Communication and Leadership: Effectively communicated SEO strategies and results to clients in simple, understandable terms, ensuring they grasped the importance of each initiative. Matched keyword research with user intent and explained the distinctions between transactional keywords and commercial intent to improve conversion-focused content.

I set up the Google Indexing API to accelerate page indexing. Through research, I identified transactional keywords with low competition and high search volume, allowing us to prioritise page indexing for faster search engine visibility.

I used Google Tag Manager to properly configure Microsoft Clarity, enabling the collection of user behavior data. Working with WordPress and WooCommerce, I focused on identifying key drop-off points in the cart-to-checkout process and other crucial stages leading to conversions.

Leveraging my foundational knowledge of copywriting, I incorporated IVOC (Internal Voice of Customer) data from platforms such as Reddit, Quora and social media comments for user research. These insights provided a deeper understanding of customer desires, enhancing all phases of SEO, from keyword research to landing page optimisation and CTA refinement.
